play the light is a 600 m2 exhibition here the visitors explore 7 big interactive installations with all their senses. there are no instructions how to play or what to learn, but the visitors are trusted to find out for themselves - or to invent their own way to interact. >>

rumtiden helped tekniska museet with the hyper human exhibition. sculptures and a forest in 3d printed wood, interactive projections and sound design.. with an immersive experience that arouses curiosity, poses questions and fascinates, inspires a sense of hope and engagement in questions concerning how technology can make it possible for a greater number of people to have a greater quality of life. >>

statistics about swedish industry's impact on us economy can be a bit boring. but the visitors at house of sweden, washington dc can look for information by dancing around on the big map where each state is like a key on a piano. the more jobs created by swedish industry, the higher note. much more fun! >>

THE MUSIC OF CHEMICAL PROCESSES

 

 

in this exhibition, all interactive installations have interaction sounds that are composed in order to sound good together regardless how the visitors interact. the sounds become like different instrument in an orchestra - and the result is an exhibition that is more harmonic, peaceful and quiet than if it would have been quiet. >>

PRESENTING STOCKHOLM IN PERFECT RHYTHM

 

 

the city of stockholm commissioned a presentation of the city to attract international investors. håkan lidbo composed this rhythmic presentation using hidden in-ear headphones with reference tracks, the best drummers one can find - and a lot of practice. >>

COMPOSE MUSIC WITH SLOT CARS AND SYNTHS

 

 

in this installationspresented by volvo cars electrical brand polestar, in collaboration with swedish synth designers teenage engineering, the visitors at milan design week could race with 4 electrical slot cars - controlling 4 op-z synthesizers at the same time. technical solution managed by rumtiden's servando barreiro. >>

PARTY WHERE YOU GET SERVED BY ROBOTS

 

 

instead of waiting for the future to come - and for robots to serve drinks and snacks at parties, we decided to build our own staff of simple serve-bots. they are not very good at their job as they easily get lost or get stuck, but people are always willing to help them out to fulfil their tasks. >>

mdl beast was the biggest festival ever in saudi arabia where rumtiden created a spacwith interactive music installations. the visitors explored new ways of making music together, aiming to inspire young people to find out new possibilities of art tech and to think different. >>

THE FUTURE OF ROBOTS PRESENTED BY ROBOTS

 

 

true bots is a band of 3 robots that perform music and make keynote presentations in a new way. the songs are about robots, human evolution and the challenges of our future co-existence. true bots have performed at locations like stockholm waterfront, dubai grand hotel and hamburg musikhalle.>> 

SOLVING MUSIC PUZZLE WITH HUMAN TOUCH

 

 

the visitors create music by touching the sculpture and each other. the large number of possible combinations of touching makes for endless exploration in animations, vibrations and music. multi-sensory music is a part of tekniska museet sweden and  won the mario gago excite award in 2015. >>

EXPLORE YOUR RESPONSABILITY FOR THE FUTURE

 

 

rumtiden's jaime reyes created installations for värmlands museum's exhibition about the climate crisis, to teach people how we need to adapt our ways of living for a sustainable future. how close would we get to the climate goal of +2 degrees global warming by 2050 if everyone would live like you? how can we make people understand the difference in co2 emissions between the different food we eat?

CELEBRATION WITH INTERACTIVE TECH

 

in collaboration with smash.studio and void.as we created the branding and content for qdb’s tent at the week-long national day celebrations in qatar. over 6000 children visited the tent, experiencing what it means to start a company. we created all content for the event, including 3d films, touch walls installations, touch screen applications and an ar game.

RENEWABLE ENERGY AS ARCADE GAMES

 

e-on wanted to make sustainable energy into something fun and engaging for events and exhibitions. 3 arcade games, one with solar power, one with wind power and and with water power. by shining, blowing and splashing the visitors can level up and electrify the 3d models. >>
